Welcome to Reception Class D

Our class

Welcome to reception class BD! There are 24 children in our class, our class teacher is Miss Greenhalgh assisted by; Miss Tipping, Miss Hussain and Mrs Sattar.

We are a lovely, happy, lively class who love to learn by playing and exploring our environment.

Half Termly News.

We have had a fantastic first half term at school and have all settled in really well! This half term we have been thinking about why we are special, getting to know each other and our new school as well as making lots of new friends! So far our favourite things to do at school are; playing with Ben and Honey (our class teddy bears), reading books, painting, playing with our friends and dressing up as doctors!

How to help your child

*Reading with us at home.

*Practicing our phase 2 sounds with us.

* Using numeracy and literacy skills in everyday situations, for example, counting fruit in the supermarket, looking out for certain letters on signs

* Remind us to bring our book bag on everyday.

*Talking to us about what we have done at school.
