Here at Pentland Infant and Nursery School we value the importance of the Children's Rights Charter and the difference that it has made to the lives of children all over the world. We have achieved our Recognition of Commitment award and we are working towards achieving level 1 of the Rights Respecting Schools award.
We have a UNICEF steering group which is made up of members of the whole school community. The steering group meets to discuss school issues surrounding children's rights, progress towards the award, ideas for fundraising and any special events or days such as our Globetrotter UNICEF Day.
